This Privacy Policy explains how Unified Color handles information submitted through the site’s email signup form and contact address. The current signup setup collects email addresses for future Unified Color updates. It does not, on its own, provide newsletter delivery.
Email signup
The signup invitation reads: “Join the Unified Color list for practical color-management and proofing guides.” The form asks for an email address and requires an explicit checkbox confirming: “I agree to receive email updates from Unified Color.”
When you submit the form, the signup module stores your email address, a hash used to check for duplicate signups, the signup time, the source page path, the consent wording you accepted, and the collection status in the site’s WordPress database. The stored source path does not include query strings or page fragments.
This launch setup is for collecting a list for future updates. Newsletter delivery, confirmation messages, and unsubscribe features require separate configuration. Until those features are configured, you can use the contact route below to request removal.
Contact messages
You can contact Unified Color at contact@unifiedcolor.com. A message sent to this address includes the sender’s email address, message, and any attachments the sender chooses to provide. This information is used to review and handle the request.
Access to signup records
Authorized WordPress administrators can view, export, and remove signup records. WordPress personal-data export and erasure tools also include newsletter records.
Signup records remain in the database until an administrator removes them or an erasure request is processed. The module also uses temporary anti-spam rate records based on hashed network identifiers and periodically cleans up those records. This does not mean the site’s hosting or network infrastructure never records addresses or other technical information.
Your choices
To ask whether Unified Color holds a signup record for you, request a copy, or request removal, email contact@unifiedcolor.com and identify the email address used to sign up. Providing that address helps locate the correct record.
You may choose not to submit the signup form or send a contact message. If you follow a link to another website, that website maintains its own privacy information and practices. Review its privacy notice before providing personal information.
